Anyone else breastfeeding at 3?

I am having a hard time getting my son off the “bobo”. We’re down to morning nap and night but I’m ready and he’s so not. When I’ve tried to stop he screams and I’ve given in. 🫠 Any advice?

In the same boat here 😵‍💫

Same

Offer water, snack, rocking, singing. He will scream but if it's draining you emotionally and physically you can't give from an empty cup

Thanks ladies, sometimes I feel like the last mamma nursing 🤱🏼 lol. And going to see my parents soon and they think I’m insane for going past six months. I try not to let the judgement be a part of it but it’s added pressure for sure. Not that they will know necessarily.

Separation saved me like a long weekend away and they just move past it or you can at least hopefully drop one of the last feeds!!💗

Following ahh

A three year old is old enough to understand and can speak full sentences I assume - I would just pull the plug. When my daughter screams for anything. I explain to her- you are three- you have words - we can talk when you are ready to use them, I will be right here. It’s different if they are 15 months screaming and can’t fully understand the scope. But (3) I think it’s more you not wanting to lose the bond and that’s understandable but if you are ready then he needs to respect that at this point. Your sanity is very important 💗
