Visiting West End/Downtown soon
Hi!
We are visiting Vancouver next week due to my husband’s job! We are staying in Downtown, close to St. Paul’s Hospital.
We have a 21 month toddler and I really have no idea what to do that could be fun for him and that is manageable for 1 parent! ( it’ll be just me and no car) Any toddler gyms around the area? Any good playgrounds? What’s a good supermarket to get baby stuff like diapers and such ?🥲
Any help is welcomed! 🤍

Vancouver is such a kid friendly city! :) there’s Nelson Park not too far from where you’ll be staying. Also by Second Beach there’s a kid friendly pool, it’s located in Stanley Park (there’s a bus that takes you very close to this area number 19). The Vancouver aquarium is beautiful also! All of these places are a short bus ride from where you’re staying :) If you cross the bridge over to the south, you’ll get to Granville Island. There’s a Kids Market place and just an overall very touristy area. The Waterpark is close to the kids market, there’s plenty of buses that get you there from downtown. The closest one has a stop at the entrance of Granville Island, number 50. Enjoy your stay in Vancouver !
