Strollers: double or single file?

What strollers are people using?! I'm interested in the Mockingbird one (less expensive than Uppa brand and has the option for kids to face the same direction or look at each other). I see the double side by side ones a lot but usually with 2 toddlers. Also they typically seem super wide and I'm concerned about doorways/narrow paths/public spaces etc. What have people tried and liked/not liked?

I have a Bugaboo Donkey which is a side by side. It moves really well, very sturdy and can go down to just a single stroller if needed. You can also have the seats facing whichever way you like. It also fits anywhere a wheelchair can fit. But it can be a faff to assemble and collapse as you have to put the seats/bassinet on to the frame separately. The frame has some weight to it too so that can be a bit of a challenge. And it takes up the entire boot. Now mine are older I’m looking at a lighter tandem stroller so that it can collapse all as one and so I can fit around more places. But honestly I prefer them being side by side it’s purely just for practical reasons why I’m wanting to swap to a tandem.
