For me it was painless and felt like a lovely rest for my body after weeks of stims! I had the best sleep and asked for the nurses to help me put my headphones in after so it was properly restful waking up. And a lovely hot chocolate after. I was so worried before and honestly it was my favourite part of this whole IVF experience so far! Bring something cosy if you get chilly like a long cardi or dressing gown and some fluffy socks to wait in and for waking up. Good luck to you x
