No Cesarean Date

I am 38 weeks today and have not been told by the booking team when my (elective) c section date will be. I went to the maternity assessment centre twice last week and saw 2 doctors who I know told the team that mine should be done from 39 weeks as I am at higher risk of DVT due to a previous surgery. I called the team today and was told they are holding 5 August (my due date) which is 40 weeks. I am so anxious about the extra strain/risk waiting another week is putting me and I have no idea what to do. I am on my way back into hospital now to find the right people to contact but I am so anxious at this point.
