Cows milk during nursery

I’m back to work part time and just about managing to pump enough for my 9 month old whilst I’m away but I’m going to full time when he goes to nursery at 11 months and I don’t think it’s achievable to pump enough for him. I’m going to try my best to do it until he’s 1 and then I’m thinking of potentially giving him cows milk or alternatives during the day and then nurse morning, evening and during the night. Am I being naive to think this would work?

Not naive at all. My baby actually refused all milk at nursery anyway which is apparently quite common! He has solids and water there and has his milk when he’s at home 😊

Definitely not naive. My daughter did exactly the same as Sophie says. I was worried about it and had tried lots of things but it turns out she can go a long time without milk if I’m not there!

Thats perfectly fine to do. I was planning on doing it but my boy refused breast and cows milk and nursery completely
