Supply drop

Baby is 4 weeks old and combi feeding I pump the bottles so I can have a break during the night to sleep . The past few days my pumps have gone from 4oz down to 2oz and now just a few dribbles I’m worried that my supply is drying up but I’m really not ready for my breastfeeding journey to be over. Any tips or suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to make sure you ate eating and drinking plenty, I could only feed for about 10 days because I just wasn't producing enough , I wasn't really eating and drinking properly so I'd maybe try that xx

Try body armor that really helped my supply!

Have you tried feeding/ pumping at night? Your body puts in the milk order for the next day, it is tiring but even if you did it every couple of nights. You could also try and look at what you are eating and drinking as that can affect your supply x

Try adding some chickpeas to your meals they have pastas and different food , that’s what helped me, also brewers yeast!

I prepared a couple of crock pit soups when my baby was sleeping (sometimes at 3-6am after pumping) and added: Chicken thighs (higher fat content) Lentils (good for supply) 1 potato Cilantro Washed rice A lot of fresh garlic, onions, and ginger to promote healing Turneric A dash of cinnamon Fennel (good for supply) Fennugreek (good for supply) And a lot of extra spices to taste. I also ate the cartilage off the bones It made it really handy that the crockpot stayed on so if I slept for 3 hrs between pumping I still had a hot meal

I also made overnight oats with chia, flax, cinnamon, and coconut milk and other goodies to have a healthy snack randomly which helped as well. Good luck!!
