I’ve got GD I don’t see the diabetic nurse til next Thursday but anyone been told they need to download an app? I have and I’m wondering what devices you use or have for the app if you have it?

@Holly of course, I was prediabetic anyways so I knew this wasn’t long until I got it this time round x
@Kira what device do you use with this app and how do you do it? I’m trying to be prepared as much as possible x
They’ll give you a finger pricking kit and an activation code for the app. Then you can sync your blood testing meter with the app so the readings can upload and your care team can monitor them.

Hi! I live in leeds and recently got told I have GD too! I was told to use Contour app and have the kit to do my blood sugars! Please make sure you get support, it can be quite overwhelming with managing diet etc and everything! xxx
