I feel a little silly bringing this to the hospital

I’m trying my best but I just feel silly if the nurses see this. I wasn’t supported well my first attempt at breast feeding my first born so maybe that’s where the insecurity is coming from. I still froze it..

Don't feel silly every little drop counts!! You're doing amazing! I'm so sorry you didn't have support with your first I didn't really either and ended up formula feeding and I am planning on trying breastfeeding again if I ever have another baby

Don't feel silly! Message me mama. Amazon has some amazing mom cozy colostrum/milk holder just like that 🩷

I'm a lactation specialist

My doula actually recommended freezing colostrum. In no world is it silly

@Liv appreciate you💕

I never saved mine I just put baby straight on boob. But what works for you is ok. Nurses are aware of this so they shouldn’t be rude or weird hopefully

Girl I didn’t even produce any before I gave birth

Thank ladies. The nurses gave me the collection kit and I have seen it on here so I just wanted to try. I get discouraged easily based how my attempt with my son went and how nurses treated me

That's a good amount. To start with I got like 2 drops! Don't be discouraged you've got this!

My first few tries, I only managed a few drops. But towards the end, I was collecting almost 2 syringes a day. Keep going. Every little counts.

Every drop counts! And if you are having trouble doing it, ask hubby 😂 mine was an expert. The midwives told him how to do it and he was amazing.

@Vera great idea lol

Every drop matters!! I couldnt get any until after birth so well done🥰

@Lauren awe thank you 💕
