Early scan
I've not had my booking appt yet or had any contact from hospital but would I be able to ring the department and ask for an early reassurance scan? I've had 3 consecutive miscarriages last one being horrific but not sure if they'll just say I have to wait. Not sure if requesting an early scan is even a thingš§

hey i'm not sure where abouts you live but i live in liverpool and got a private scan at "catch a glimpse" in maghull, they were amazing, google private sonography in your area and read the reviews, can be expensive but worth it to calm your nerves i felt so much better after myn xx
You might have to get a private one I did and it was worth the money to put my mind at ease
I wondered the same thing so I phoned the EPU this morning to ask and it was no problem at all, Im booked in next Thursday and Iāll be 8 + 3 then.. I said due to a miscarriage in March would it be possible to have a reassurance scan and she said absolutely x

You have to get a referral from your GP normally, unless youāve been referred there previously for a different pregnancy. I think for the amount of miscarriages you have had though, they shouldnāt deny you the scan. You can always ring the unit, ask and then go from there :)
