How do you feel qhen others tell your toddler off

Unless he's done something really bad I don't agree with it but I guess I'm soft.

Unless they are looking after them then no its down to me or her dad! X

It depends on the situation, if another child is unsupervised and does something wrong ie snatches a toy off my child, I would gently intervene, not really tell off but I’d say say something like ‘ hey buddy, we don’t snatch, it’s not nice, shall we ask _____ if they want to share? Same goes for hitting, biting or pushing. ‘ hey buddy, we don’t hit, that hurts, can we play together nicely?’ Or if they’re doing something dangerous. I wouldn’t really call it telling off, it’s more correcting their behaviour and letting them know boundaries. I have worked with children for over 10 years and have experience prior to that too, so it comes naturally to me, it’s not my job to discipline other children but as a mother I feel it is always my responsibility to keep my children safe and other children around me too to ensure happy play

@Nash agree 💯 👍
