Canesten pessary

Apologies for slight TMI in advance 😅 I got prescribed the pessaries for a 3 day treatment. I thought my waters were leaking, went up to the assessment unit to be told I have a slight infection. (No pain, no itchiness or anything) Anyway , I didn't use the applicator as didn't seem safe considering how low baby is. I put them in in the night before bed, and for a few hours after waking up I get a really chalky discharge like it's obvious the pessaries aren't dissolving properly. Does that always happen ? Do I need to call and get checked again?

That’s happened to me anytime I’ve used one and it’s worked. I was under the impression it’s completely normal

Yes I believe this is completely normal - happened to me and the treatment worked fine. (Also thought my waters were going!)

I’ve not used them whilst I’ve been pregnant, but used them whilst I wasn’t and this still happens, it’ll say on the leaflet it’s completely normal (even if you use the applicator)

It's super normal, it's gotta come out and that's it's only way to :)

I've used them before pregnancy that's totally normal
