Birth announcment

My 10th August baby became a 19th July baby! born via Cat3 emergancy c-section At 14:03 weighing a tiny 4lbs 15ozs at 36weeks +6 Birth story: Attended an ultrasound scan on the Thursday to check if baby was head down ready to be induced on the Friday however they had discovered my placenta was shutting down and baby wasn’t getting enough oxygen to his brain. Hospital explained I had to be kept in from then onwards as baby needs to be delivered and monitored closely until then. The last couple weeks leading up to delivery had been bumpy being in and out twice weekly due to water breaking, reduced movement and heart rate drops. He was classed as 1day premature so had a huge team in the theatre ready. I was so nervous and scared but honestly would not have changed it for the world. I lost slightly more blood than the standard but recovering well. Baby is doing amazing! Was jaundice to start with and under the blue light, as well as having a cannula for antibiotics. however is perfect in every way and so proud considering how tiny he is. After a long 6 days in hospital we are home and settled. If your due to have a c-section and are nervous my best peace of advice would be to breathe and relax, I know it’s easier said than done but it truly does help you’ve got this!
