CSECTION WOUND!

Ladies sorry for the image but I have just done a 7 day course if antibiotics for an infection and my scar still looks like this. Has anyone been through this before does this look normal or should I go back to the hospital? Help!

I’d get it checked again!

You need to go to your doctor to check on it, mine is infected and I had 3 visits at the doctors since my C-section . After taking antibiotics after 8 days I still see puss however I’m starting a new around of antibiotics prescribed by my doctor

I don’t think it looks normal no I would go back. They might need to do IV or a longer script. All of it should look like the rest of it.

@Riguel ugh I’m so sorry you’re going through that! I was always so scared of infection with both my c sections. And now with my vaginal tear too. I’m still nervous about uterine infection right now!

Go back to GP may need another course of antibiotics

Mine didn't look like that at all. It almost looks open to me. I would get it checked for my anxiety imo. Wishing you the best!
