Sleep&lack of

Up until couple of months ago our little one used to wake up around 7/7:30 nap between 12 and 3 max and go to sleep at 9/9:30…. We’ve slowly reduced the nap (like ending by 2:30 max) and sometime she didn’t even want to nap in the afternoon - we were stupidly hoping for her going to bed earlier but not a chance. She’s now up around 7 am and despite our best efforts of being in the bedroom by 8, closing curtains, reading books with very low light etc she doesn’t want to sleep until 10:30/11 pm. I am exhausted - not only for the length of the day and the energies required but also because she’s got into a phase of attachment to me like when she was smaller. I don’t know what to do. I’m barely able to talk to my partner, unable to have 5 mins for myself. Is it a phase? Are we doing something wrong?

We’re in the same boat, ended up cutting nap out completely (if she’s tired I’ll wake her up after 25mins nap or she’ll be up until after 10pm). She’s had 2 naps this week, asleep by 7/7:30pm most nights and seems totally ok without a nap! Getting evenings back is just 👌👌👌🥲

Yes she’s been off napping now for 3 weeks at least and she still doesn’t want to sleep 🫣

My LO the same it’s like she can’t switch off at night (strangely the nap she’ll fall straight asleep) I’m convinced it’s a sleep regression as this is completely new for her. It’s been going on for weeks now and hoping it will end soon! Or it could be she’s too tired to switch off 🤪 xx

Usually falling asleep should be 12-13 hours max after waking up so I'd say going to the bedroom at 8 may be too late. The days my daughter doesn't nap bedtime is like half 6/7 at the latest.

Thanks - I will try even earlier then! And I’m thinking to put some bonjela just in case there’s any pain with teething (even though I can’t see anything yet). This is really affecting me now. Literally no break in over a month 😖😓
