Audiobooks are how I consume almost 90% of my books since I had my 5.5 year old and now with two very hyper kids. And there's a lot of free audiobooks through libraries. Kindle Paperwhite is how I can somewhat get actual reading done without having someone losing my bookmark or my 15 month old being rough with my physical books. Again libraries have a lot of free ebooks.
I read to sleep every night 😴 part of my bedtime routine!
I do Audiobooks when cooking, cleaning, or working out. I read physical books when my daughter is playing sometimes if it's an appropriate book I read it outloud and she just listens (for 30min). And I use kindle when I'm out and about having to wait in line, or before bed.
I read while nursing my baby, whenever I get a chance when he’s napping. And right before I go to Sleep
After I had my son I had no time to read and when I did I couldn't stay awake long enough to finish a page bc I was exhausted so I tried audiobooks. 4 years later I am hooked. I now have a 4-year-old and 6 month old and I do the audiobooks while I am cleaning, cooking whatever, and reading at night. I tried to map out time in my day for things I love after losing myself in motherhood
@Calloway same here- I find both the audiobook and ebook on my library apps
I read while I hold my napping son. 🤣
Try audiobooks. It's not the same as physical books or kindle but you can listen to them as you clean, cook etc. Get some nice Bluetooth earbuds/headphones.
