I have my c section booked in for this Wednesday. Does anyone have any tips for remaining calm or anything I should be organising beforehand for once we get home.
Fill the freezer up and get plenty of snacks in.
Big knickers, nappy/feeding station on your bedside table and next to the sofa for ease in the first week and don’t sweat about things like the laundry or hoovering.
Staying calm, I found the whole thing eerily calm. I was a nervous wreck in the taxi in but once there I felt a weird calm. Staff are great at keeping you calm and comfy but take stuff to keep you occupied. There’s a lot of waiting and you might get pushed back for emergency mums. I took my iPad with a colouring app and some downloaded Netflix. Baby sleeps a lot and there’s a lot of waiting around for stuff like pharmacy before discharge.
The best of luck! I loved my section and I’m doing it again for baby 2 ❤️
