I had a planned section for the 12th of august, ended up in labour on the 7th, when i arrived to hospital i was given the option of still having the c section which i chose, and although it wasn’t as planned as original, it was genuinely such a pleasant experience, i have absolutely no faults or complaints about my experience

I was induced in December 2022 it was a very traumatic experience due to issues with me and the baby but I couldn’t praise the staff enough from the domestics to the consultants and everyone inbetween they are amazing people they made me feel safe and comfortable. I won’t tell you my story as I don’t want to scare you and put you off as every induction is different. I hope you have a safe and wonderful experience it is worth it x

I echo what everyone else has said, I had the most calming loveliest experience. Still had skin to skin, listened to our own playlist. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better birth, the team were so so lovely! Good luck!

I’m booked in for one so nice to see positive stories terrified of going into labour before though as could only get booked in 2 days before due date

Hi when did you recieve your date for your section how many weeks? Xxxx

Had a planned one on 14th February at 39+1, amazing care absolutely loved it xx

I had a planned section for the 9th of June 2023, it got postponed until the 12th but I honestly couldn’t fault them, I felt totally at ease especially as this is my first child! I loved every moment of it and I was told horror stories leading up to it but I can honestly say it was the most perfect way to bring my baby into the world!

Best decision ever. I went into labour naturally a few days before planned C-section. I was so scared they were going to make me have a natural labour but they were so reassuring and got me into surgery as early as possible. It was such a fab atmosphere and we had a proper laugh with the staff. We stayed in for 2 nights and everyone was incredible throughout the stay.

@Em I got mine couple days ago at consultants appt I’m 33 weeks

@Amanda how come it was postponed, Emergencies?

@Lana yeah they phoned me a couple days beforehand to rearrange 😅 in all fairness I had just moved into my new house so it worked out soo much better to get everything organised ☺️

@Em i got given a few dates to choose from at 34 wks x

I had one due to low lying placenta in 2021 and they were really good with me. I’m heammoraged due to my personal additional risks and they just dealt with it really calmly and told me after / when they needed to. I’m currently expecting my second and have been reccomended to RVI due to my risk factors but genuinely considering switching back to NSECH as they made me feel quite calm and looked after me well.
