Swim diaper?
Hi mamas so I’ve seen some cloth diaper brands also sell swim diapers. My question is if I use pocket diapers and just use it without the insert wouldn’t that be the same thing?

Will it be tight enough to hold the poop ? The reusable swim diapers I have have a tighter elastic lining part and then the normal outer.
That's what I do for my little guy, works just fine :)
I plan to just use an unstuffed tighter pocket diaper. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m not bothered by a soggier diaper, when it’s something I already have 😂
You could definitely do that. I use Alva baby swim diapers and they seem to be more comfortable than an empty pocket diaper would be since there is no waterproof layer (PUL) and they’re fairly cheap

Short answer, yes haha! I have both and honestly I think the only difference is the inside holds less water if you have a swim specific reusable diaper. Regular reusable diapers will absorb water.
