Planned C section

Hey! Has anyone had a planned C Section recently? If so how long did you stay in hospital for? My last section I was in for 3 days but I’ve heard it’s all changed since 7 years ago.. x

I had one last September I was it at 7.30am on the Friday, out by 4pm the Saturday. X

I had one November 22 and was in 2 nights but my surgery was delayed due to emergencies I didn’t return to ward from surgery until after 5pm, suspect if I was back earlier I might of been able to be discharged a bit earlier

Yes it was my 2nd child and 1st c section so was longer and harder than I anticipated but think this was my expectations rather than anything else but you will know what to expect so will be easier for you you know the 1st few days are the hardest

@Stacey yeah it did but was my second C section so like Samantha took alot longer to recover. Just take it easy and make sure you let people help you. 🙂 good luck. Xxx
