@Samah thank you 💓 I appreciate your kind words and support so much
I was going to give the same advice and then I saw the rest of your message 🥴.. but hers why I think it’s true .. when we as women are wanting to conceive, we stress about it more than we think and our body’s feels that stress.. once we relax and stop worrying it happens naturally .. but also you can try the mucinex trick
@SaMiaya thank you 💓 def going to try it this cycle
It's definitely hard when you didn't have to wait as long with your first! But keep in mind, every month, you only have about a 20% chance of conceiving. On average, it takes healthy couples 6-12 months to conceive. I think movies and TV shows and such do a disservice because they're always showing couples get pregnant the moment they decide they want a baby, but that's just not the truth for the majority of couples! Sending you all the baby dust 🩷💙
@Grace thank you! I feel seen. I think that is my biggest frustration with this go round- that my first was on the third try. I didn’t know about that statistic! That’s wild. What’s even more wild is that I got pregnant with an IUD with my husband years ago. So I was so convinced I was fertile Myrtle. Just have to keep on trying
I’ve been trying for #2 for 19 months and anytime someone tells me to “just relax” and “not think about it and it’ll happen” I want to snap at them. As if I haven’t tried that and as if it’s that easy. I’m sorry it’s so frustrating.
Ashley, It’s okay to feel all the feels right now. Give yourself some grace and space to be upset, and know that it’s normal to have these emotions. You’re doing everything you can, and sometimes it just takes a little longer, even though that’s the last thing you want to hear. Just know you’re not alone in this, and I’m sending you lots of love and baby dust. Hang in there, mama. 🩷
