Baby dropped percentile since my waters breaking

Hi ladies. I posted a couple days ago about my waters breaking and being admitted since. Today I had a growth scan and he has dropped from 22% to 8% since 2 weeks ago. Doctor said measurements aren’t as accurate once waters have gone but can’t help but worry. Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes!My waters broke at 16 weeks and my baby measured small right before i went into labor at 31 weeks. I think she was only expected to be about 3 lbs and ended up coming out at 4lbs 2oz which is a huge difference when it comes to percentiles. It’s definitely hard to measure accurately with lack of fluid.

Thanks so much for responding, that’s reassuring to hear and actually a good weight for that gestation! I hope baby is doing well ❤️

@Nesli She is doing well thank you ❤️ We had a 2 month NICU stay but she is almost 2 now and perfectly healthy! Wishing the best for you and baby ❤️

Both my babies were on thr 9th centile after their water broke , but were 4lb 9 and 4lb 4 when born at 34 weeks so although small were not too small xx

@Amber were they following a higher centile prior to your waters breaking or consistently followed 9% prior too?

@Nesli yeah they were on the 50th abs 35th centile, after the waters went they dropped to 9th centile but they were actually not too bad a weight when they were delivered , we delivered at 34 weeks ! We made it all the way to 34 weeks ! When my waters went at 20 weeks xx

That’s amazing, congrats on keeping them in for so long!!
