Miscarriage

I had a miscarriage while on holiday which has been over a month and I’m still bleeding now. I have had one dose of medical management and they’ve given me another dose. If this doesn’t work in 48 hours then I will have to have surgical management. Can anyone give me any advice. Just heartbroken and feel like this has gone on for so long 💔💔

I don't know much about medical management, but my first miscarriage lasted honestly like 2 months long, maybe even a bit more. I'd never had a miscarriage before so I just assumed what was going on was normal, and it was in 2020 during peak covid, so I was scared shitless to go anywhere near a hospital. They literally told me to only go if I felt like my life was in danger, so I just didn't say anything. After a while the cramping stopped and it was basically like the longest period of my life. Part of me is glad I didn't know any better, because although it was long, things just passed in their own time and I was able to grieve in peace. It might be worth speaking to them about the risks of letting it pass naturally, as it might be smaller than you think. It's a completely personal decision, and you may want it over quickly, or you may just want to be left alone. Both are options

So sorry to hear you’re going through this ✨ my missed miscarriage lasted for 2months and I needed 2 lots of surgery last year it’s so difficult you just want it to be over so you can start to somehow move on but it feels so far away. I kept asking for repeat ultrasounds as I was spotting so much turns out I had retained products. My happy is ending is due Christmas Eve last Christmas I felt so hopeless and heartbroken so please don’t give up hope 🧡
