Pumping at work

Hi mamas. I'm going to be starting up a new job and my daughter is still breastfed, so I'll be having to pump at work. I haven't done a whole lot of pumping up to this point, because it just hasn't been necessary. So I'm wondering what your pumping schedules look like around working? How long does a session usually take? How often? How do you store your milk? I haven't had a look at the break room/fridge yet, but idk if I like the idea of leaving it in there where it's accessible to anyone. Thanks.

First, legally you are allowed your breaks and your employer CANNOT deny you this. No matter what. But what I do is pump every 3 hours for 30 minutes. I bring my wearable pumps and they automatically turn off after 30 minutes. I was thinking of buying one of those portable breast milk tumbler that keeps it cold for about 16 hours, but for now I just put it in my bag in the fridge, and when I go home I take one of the many ice packs we have in the freezer
