Shopping carts

I don't have that problem. We do go out a lot. I guess my daughter is used to.

Maybe you could try his favorite snack and juice/ milk, that usually helps my toddler stay in most of the trip 🤍 If all else fails and I really need to shop I sometimes give him my phone to watch ms. Rachel or Mickey Mouse.

I always bring a snack to the store. Something not messy. I usually wait to give it to her until we get to check out to keep her busy during that. Other than that I just try not to stop moving for too long and I keep her involved in what I’m doing. Doesn’t always work 🤷🏼‍♀️ just do your best. I also suggest going to the store sometimes alone. Leave him with dad or grandma or something if you can. It’s like a freaking vacation 🤣

We put our son in the trolley sitting with the food and he usually grabs few grappes or fruits while we shop

Mine LG doesn’t sit in the cart since she was 15m old but luckily she likes to push the cart and doesn’t go around too much touching stuff (best are the bulk stores like Costco) I also give her a snack at check out or if she gets out of control. Few times she saw kids sitting in the cart and I was able to put her there as well for a bit but I think thats just luck 😅

Snacks are the only thing keeping my LO in the cart now.

My son wants to be carried after the first 10 min. The best way I keep him in is to make car noises and walk slightly faster than usual

I resorted to short trips using the stroller. He’ll sit in the stroller won’t sit in the cart I think because he can see everything in the stroller.

Same prob here w my baby girl, I just let her run around for a bit, then sit her down again, then give her whatever caught her attention at the store and then take it away bf we pay.
