Night weaning 15 months old (bottle)

Hello all, my baby is 15 months and is still taking a bottle at night. I stopped giving her milk and replaced it with water thinking that will wean him off sooner but she is still taking the bottle (with only water in it). I don’t have problem with her drinking water but because of this I think she is unable to sleep at a stretch & neither can I 😕 She is constantly waking up & grabbing her bottle to soothe & in this process she also wakes me up (I am co sleeping) What should do to completely wean her off the night bottle without being too harsh on her? So that she & I can both sleep peacefully at night Pls share your experience here.

Hi, I’m not sure if this helps I’m just sharing my experiences, my first daughter was very hard to get off the bottle, I had to just take it away it took a few days for her to get over not having a bottle, those days were rough but we got through it, my second was completely different, she didn’t really care that I took her bottle away. With my first it took me until she was almost 2 to get her off the bottle and with my second she stopped at 1 year old. It really depends of your child and what you’re comfortable with. I tried weaning my first but I just wasn’t comfortable taking it away since she was my first and like you said it feels harsh. I will add that I also co sleep with my daughters. They’re your baby and you gotta do what you think is best for her. I hope it all works out ❤️
