Omg your story gives me flashbacks. I had the same experience with my miscarriage. I didn’t induce the miscarriage it started on its own at around 9 weeks. The amount of blood I lost and the amount of tissue I observed made me pass out. I was home alone when all of this was happening but luckily my husband and my mother arrived within 20 mins. I don’t think I would have survived without them, my mum called the ambulance after the state I was in and the amount of blood I had lost. Months later I still have nightmares about it. I don’t think I will ever get over the trauma I observed.
@Lisa me too! My last one I should have been 14 weeks but the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks and I was meant to have a d&c but passed it naturally at home just after the scan and that was no near the level that the one I had a few days ago was!
Oh my gosh that is so scary! I’m so so sorry you went through that. I’ve had two miscarriages and while one was a bit further along than the other (11.5 weeks vs 8 weeks) I was able to manage them without using tablets or getting D&C. You sharing this helps me stand firm that I don’t want to use the pill if this ever happens again. That sounds horrifying.
