My daughter was entertained with dried pasta twists in a pan a couple of pots and a spoon today for ages
I've noticed the same! Ive started getting 3 toys out and putting the rest away, ready for when she gets up and she's then really quite content playing with those most of the day and then rotate them. Outside at least once, if not twice, come rain or shine! Change of scenery in the house, play in their bedroom/your room/spare room, they are more easily entertained than you think they will be!
All sorts, from reading to role play, cars chasing, tricycle (yep, in the house 🙈), kitchen play, sorting mami cutlery (no knives of course), colouring/ drawing, singing and dancing, feeding the soft toys and of course playing outside. He plays independently but I need to have an eye on him aaalll the time. And everyday we go to the park for swings (its just 5 mins walking for us tbh). Also, we dont have many toys at all. Just one big plastic box, another one for soft toys, a mini table and chairs, a kitchen, a wood working station, a tricycle and about 30 books.
Play doh Colouring (not long at all) Reading books Outside (when it’s dry) I’m going to start to introduce baking so my boy can help with the decorating for now as anything longer he will probably lose interest. Puzzles Shape sorters
