NSECH sibling visiting
I know partners can stay over night but we have a 12 year old and dog at home so hubby will have to leave as his mum has just had a knee operation yesterday so won’t be able to help either. How long can children (baby’s sibling) stay for? I’m having csection so will be in at least a night. Also do midwife’s help you out if your on your own? Getting anxious about planning it all lol

@Jami yea that’s what I seen just wondered if they would still want them gone by a certain time
i’m assuming maybe just not too late, i think if they’re 12 they’re at a decent age for the midwives not to worry about them causing stress
My birthing partner went home and when my sister visited on evening she just never left and stayed with me instead (your not meant to do this) but no one said anything and they do a shift change so they were none of the wiser if you have anyone else who can stay with you

we got told siblings were allowed through normal visiting hours (2-4, 6-7). and yes! the midwives are super super helpful, any time i needed them because my partner had to go home for extras stuff for us, id press my call button and theyd come and help, and they were lovely about it too
