All inclusive holidays - advice!

Hi guys! Looking to book an all inclusive holiday with some friends (some with kids some without). The last 2 years we have done a villa, self-catering and at night we just bring the baby monitors out in the communal area (rooms are very close by obviously on a secure property). How does this work with hotels? I don’t wana sound thick, but I assume you can’t leave any children in the rooms under a certain age? So what do you do? Go to bed when they do? (6/7pm)… or do they stay up later and mess up routine? Or sleep in pram (which my daughter won’t do) 😂 Just looking for some advice from any recent experience! Our LG will be 2/2.5 when we book the trip 🙏🏻

I would make sure that you have a balcony you can enjoy a drink on after little one has gone to bed or book somewhere with babysitting service, as you definitely cant leave children in room even with a monitor on

We recently come back from holiday, our LO either stayed up late or went to sleep in his pram. We did have 1 night though when we went back to room early just as we was all tired You can't stick to routine constantly, soon as you get back home, they will fall straight back into routine

Dinner didn't start til half 6 at our hotel so we gave him a nap at 5ish (walked around in the buggy and he was so knackered from all the swimming and playing he went pretty quick) and then went to dinner when he woke up, which gave us time to get ready in peace. Then he stayed up til about 10 and layed in in the morning til 8 (instead of the usual 5 or 6). The home routine never works on holiday, just go with it!

We went to Greece in July and we kept LO on uk time, so bedtime of 7:30 was 9:30 in Greece! We had a balcony on our room so just hung out there, was a little sad not to be able to enjoy the hotel in the evening! Also by 2/2.5 they’ll easily stay up later and not be too affected by it I reckon :)

I’ve done 2 all inclusive holidays now. The first he was only 6 months We found that LO stayed up a later then we put them to bed later around 9:30. We sat in bed and watched Netflix. The most recent one, we rocked him off in the pushchair. Stayed had a few drinks and watched a bit of entertainment then went back to the room transferred him and went to bed ourselves. Never found either had an effect on his routine upon returning.

Ayda will stay up late and then if she’s really shattered she’ll fall asleep in her pram but she will fight it u too as late as possible and the she’ll have good naps in the day and I sunbathe 😅. When she wouldn’t nap in the pram we had a swim up balcony so I could tan while she napped but last holiday she napped in her pram by the pool with a snooze shade and white noise xx

We keep him on uK time zone so he was waking at 9am and wanting bed at 9ish - worked perfectly as we enjoyed the hotel and could eat all our meals together. A villa though with communal space would be better logistical though
