Use one of the accounts that’s round up spends to the nearest £ and pops it in a separate account. TopCashback for online spends. Switch bank account for one that gives a cash reward. Sell some stuff. Work more (boring answer but I worked two jobs to afford hol this year) Meal planning, hard at first but will get easier week after week. Cut non essentials like subscriptions. When contracts are over barter them down. Virgin keep upping our internet contract to silly figures we have to threaten to leave each time the contract ends)
Book an all inclusive with low deposit very far in advance and just pay low instalments every month x
Pick a cheap place too. Portugal has been named one of the best value places to go at the moment.
I can try and take a look for some cheaper destinations for you. I’m an independent travel agent so could see if we’ve access to any good prices around what you’re looking for. Just depends what your budget is etc. feel free to pop me a message ☺️
Go to holidays when it’s not peak time so October, November, December for some winter sun but if it’s for summer holidays book it in advance and pay the deposit then spread it out .
i’m a travel agent so could told find you a nice deal? x
Child free places, easy jet, tui or jet 2, we find easyjet the cheapest and never had any issues
Thank you all so much I was hoping to go in Nov for my birthday but I won’t have as many months now to pay a low deposit and monthly instalments so will consider these options for sometime before i’m due back at work 🥲 xxx
Also, forgot to mention there is this group on Facebook called holiday exchange where people are selling holidays they can no longer go to and are non refundable and you can find some really cheap ones however you have to beware of scammers. Not sure what’s the safest way to pay for something like that is cause I haven’t personally done it but you could look into it x
Jet2 are great for free child places, even for 1 adult and 1 child the child still goes free; great for single mamas! We’ve used sun holidays at £9.50pp and they’re great for a cheap break, also have parks in France, Germany and Spain too if you had a car could drive to France and have a budget holiday that way x
