Growth scan
I’m feeling worried! 33 weeks today and at my growth scan this week nobody commented that there was a problem and the doctor was happy for me to go back in four weeks time. But this morning I’ve looked at my notes again and it says that baby’s femur length is below the 5th percentile? Just wondering if anyone else has had something similar. Seems weird to me that the midwife or sonographer didn’t mention anything?
Yes! My baby’s femur sits around the 2-3rd percentile, I’m small myself (4ft 11in) and don’t make particularly big babies. The doctor said as long as it the growth on the next few scans shows an increased trend there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. This also happened with my first child (also low Papp-a) and she is fine 😊
