We bit the bullet on Thursday. Thursday she had one wet accident, 30 mins after she had pants put on, yesterday she had two wet and one dirty accident. Today she hasn’t had any but she was in a pull up for most of the morning and the first part of the afternoon as we were in the car for most of it
Days one and two were… chaos. Day 3 we got into a routine, and it just got easier from there. Keep your head up! It gets easier
Ha! I must be on day 110! It's still a disaster. She did so well for 3 weeks and then not. Up and down. One day she will tell everyone when she needs to go, and the next day she will have changed her knickers and pants 14 times! It's a battle and every child is diffirent. All I can say is good luck as it takes alot of time and energy!
We tried in April and did 5 days, she would just flat out refuse to use the potty and then would wet herself and not even be bothered, so we stopped. Tried again in August as she had been showing interest again and she picked it up straight away. She only had a couple of accidents and realised what was happening this time. We did a couple of days with no bottoms, 2 weeks with no underwear, although her first day at nursery they put her in pants and she had several accidents. It’s been about a month now and she’s barely had any accidents at all and is often dry overnight too. So much easier this time around!
Incog, how have you been getting on?
The second day was a lot better than the first - thank god or I think I would have just stopped 😂 We started potty training a few month ago and she did amazing! but she got constipated so dr said pause potty training as it could make it worse if she’s holding it. This time is a lot harder than the last time and it’s annoying because I think she’s just being lazy now 😂 But yeah, she’s getting there so fingers crossed 🤞
First was ok, second was a disaster then it got better. Now my son is dry at night too after about 8/9 weeks of potty training during day x
