The "covers" that go inside the plugs are dangerous and aren't recommended in the uk. Leave them empty is much safer. You can buy box covers which completely cover the sockets though, they're good. Have you tried a clicky fidget toy you can redirect to?x Clippasafe Socket Protector, Pack of 1 https://amzn.eu/d/3NLJpot
@SamanthaOh wow 😩😩 how scary!! We’ve had the plug socket covers for over a year. Had no clue they were dangerous 😩😩 any recommendations for clicky fidget toys? He has a few toys which have a similar sound affect as the switches but he’s too obsessed with the switches 😩😩 @Stephanie Im just learning this 😩 It’s so hard to fully baby proof!! I try to supervise all the time too but with a newborn and sometimes being home alone with them two it’s hard to always chase him around 😩😩 love the sound of the wooden circuit. Im also thinking of xmas presents - do you have a link you’re happy to share?
Yes of course it's something similar to this https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1566638336/jumble-dream-montessori-busy-board-for?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_uk_en_gb_b-toys_and_games-toys-other&utm_custom1=_k_Cj0KCQjwgL-3BhDnARIsAL6KZ68TlW13JBnIadPw-RSstsPJeizOUqQ0pKaXIEwcZfz-3pK1ktn5vsEaAtVHEALw_wcB_k_&utm_content=go_12581721791_120453224860_507836155851_pla-314535280500_m__1566638336engb_102858184&utm_custom2=12581721791&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgL-3BhDnARIsAL6KZ68TlW13JBnIadPw-RSstsPJeizOUqQ0pKaXIEwcZfz-3pK1ktn5vsEaAtVHEALw_wcB
Yes! I actually read that in the uk the plug things are pointless as the sockets have a sliding closed thing when nothing is directly in them, so unless his finger was small enough to poke inside its probably fine. I still keep the covers on though. I tend to just supervise and let him switch things on and off. I also got him a wooden circuit/switch board thing which he plays with for aaaages
