Camping with baby

Hey all! So we have been invited to go camping soon but we are stuck on a few things. Any advice as well would be greatly appreciated! This is a list of bits we have as extras so far obviously alongside his normal stuff (nappies, wipes, toys, medicines, extra clothes, warm clothes etc) he’s exclusively breastfed so that his food is super easy. Plastic bag for nappies Portable light Portable charger Chair from high chair Travel cot and mattress with spare sheets Carrier Waterproof cover and raincoat My brother has the tent and cooking stuff so we just need to bring bits for us really. Have I missed anything or any recommendations? Thank you! 🫶🏻♥️

@Jasmine Ooo yes! I’ll have a look for some but he’s only 4 nearly 5 months, hopefully there’s some for little ones

Ensure you have a mattress that’s not an inflatable type if there is any chance baby might sleep with you! I know you’ve said you’re taking a cot and mattress but just in case. The air beds aren’t safe for safe cosleeping!

@Lottie We have one from Amazon but it’s just one that fits in the red kite travel cot! We haven’t co slept before and to be honest my son is an amazing sleeper, although I guess he may hate camping! I’ll have a look, thank you x

Extra blankets and thick socks

@Abby Oh for sure! I’m wondering what’s best to put him in at night? We usually do full pajamas and a 1 tog sleeping bag. But I’m thinking maybe full pajamas, short sleeved vest underneath and a 2.5 tog x
