Don't worry about other people asking. Just tell them she's on her own toilet journey and she making progress. Keep working with her, but take the pressure off of yourself. She's not going to go to college in diapers, and 3 years from now, no one but you is going to remember whether she potty trained closer to 3 or 4yo. Be positive about her sitting on the toilet whether she goes or not. Once she's sat down, read a few stories so she has a few minutes to get comfortable and feel whether she needs to potty. I used diapers while potty training both of my kids (under 3) and they learned just fine.
I suggest two weeks period no nappy day time. With my little girl we just went straight to big 🚽 because potty wasn’t working for her. So I would remind her every 20mns to go pee and it worked out good it didn’t even took long and she was fine now she goes by herself this was just in July by the time she is 3 she just goes. no more nappies just at sleeping time only. Some kids don’t like l potty no matter how fancy.
As someone who was there a few months ago, I understand completely. Just leave the nappy off and use just underwear. Put the nappy on only after she has gone to bed. It was traumatising at first but we made it through. She progressed quickly enough to be ready for nursery in September (we started in July). Use lots videos and put it on repeat. That helped a lot for us. And lots of praise and good job, when she makes it to the potty. Also tell her where the pee goes when she has accidents (that’s where being firm about leaving the nappy off helps). At 3 the mostly know what to do but have to be encouraged to take action.
