C-section tomorrow - so nervous

This was exactly the same as me - emergency under general during covid - it was awful. I can honestly say my planned c section on 10th September cured all my trauma from the previous birth. It was the most wonderful experience - we enjoyed some chill time together in the morning, the doctors and midwives explained everything and were all amazing. We had our wedding playlist playing, had the drapes dropped and my husband cut the cord. Wishing you the best of luck tomorrow meeting your little girl

I had my elective on the 12th and it was such a nice experience. So relaxed and all the stuff were amazing. Good luck X

I also have an elective tomorrow! And if this helps, I’ve never been so excited! My sister had an emergency which she said was a little traumatic for her in the sense she wasn’t awake etc, but for her second it was planned and she’s assured me it’s a lovely experience! I love how I know when I’m going in and it’s all planned etc, I feel like it’s Christmas tomorrow 😂 yes I’m nervous 100%, but if I’m being honest the thing I’m most nervous for is the blood thinners afterwards as I hate the thought of having to inject myself 🤦🏼‍♀️ but other than that… I’m so excited!!! We’ll be fine x
