C section [Advice needed]

So im a new mom and i just had an emergency c section 9/12 ...been about a 10days already and im experiencing burning on my sides. Was wondering what could help woth this process of healing .. i know rest more but i currently dont have the help from family or friends durning my journey as a new mom. I try to rest when baby is resting but i also feel like i cant sit down and i constant have to do things. Please share yall exprience.

Ice packs are ur bestfriend and not very much movement unless u really have to honestly. Using a pillow also when your laying down. I’ve had to c sections one was emergency and one was a repeat

I find the burning occurs when I’ve done too much moving about. So I know you don’t want to rest but really do. It’s not worth having your wound open up or infection.

Thank you ladies for your comments. I was definitely going to try the ice pack method. And i just move up n down from bed to kitchen honestly and since i been home i only go out just for Dr apts. And honestly been to the store twice with him to get food and postpartum things i needed. I kept hearing why am i alone for and i shouldnt be lifting but again i dont get help and i know I should wait till my hunny gets home to go and get it but i needed it asap and my husband works in contruction field so hes home late evenings. Pillows definitely been helping me . I already have my staples out as of 9.19. I just have bandages on then till this upcoming Thursday.. 9.26.... Definitely been wanting to either get frida mom faja or something to help with therapy...
