I have to give my daughter the toothbrush. She spends a while biting it and swinging it around, but eventually she'll let me guide her hand to brush her teeth

I got my son a battery powered toothbrush and that seems tp help him. This one is from 6 months and up x

Get the softest bristles toothbrush you can (we use the MAM one), use a thin covering of toothpaste and make it into a game and make noises whilst you’re brushing or let them watch something on your phone to distract. Let them play with it after you’ve given a little scrub up and down and make a big deal of saying well done x

We let him have a toothbrush and I have one. He tends to chew on it which the dentist said was fine as he was moving the toothpaste round his mouth. I also do my teeth at the same time and make very exaggerated teeth brushing noises! 🤣

We have the same problem. Just this week we've got a second toothbrush and he chews one and we use the other. He takes it in turns with us, we give him a big clap after his turn 'brushing' and then he lets us do a quick brush, just a few seconds at a time but we keep taking turns🤞🏻 it keeps working cause we were pinning him down while he cried and fought before

I brush mine straight before and let him hold the end of my brush so he's brushing my teeth and his dad does the same. Then I tell him now its your turn and we make a whole thing out of each step. Sometimes he likes to stand on a stool and feel the water on his hand in the sink or just be on my hip looking at the mirror baby also brushing his teeth. He only has 4 teeth so I think 30 seconds is fine if 2 mins is enough for all the teeth we have as adults
