I will be having my third section. I laboured for 78 hours with my first, and it messed us both up. I then had an emergency c-section and the recovery was horrendous. 8 weeks of being out of it, barely remembering anything, hardly eating, feeling so down. Imo i have laboured enough for 3 children and i didn't even make it past 4cm 😅 My scheduled section with my second was a wonderful experience. It was such a hugely different experience, i cant compare the two. Hoping my third goes as well as my second. In terms of what you should do... Its up to you. I do agree that for most people, a vaginal birth is better, but that is absolutely not the case for everyone. You have a right to choose. Its a tuff call for some.

I think it depends on the Dr to I had a c-section almost 11 years ago and planning for another one with my second child on the way I know I prefer a c- section because after you get one it’s best because it’s a possibility you could rupture your uterus or need a hysterectomy or you and baby can be put in a bad situation that baby can get caught where scare tissue is and stop breathing and this is all if you have it natural I know when I had my first c-section I was up and moving around once I was moved to the room they couldn’t believe it but but I do have a high tolerance for pain either way I wish you a health delivery momma to you and baby many blessings

Natural for me. I'm actually more anxious about having a c-section than vaginal birth. My first was unmedicated vaginal birth without tearing, quick delivery. I'm hoping for the same this time. My recovery was quick too but not fun ,it does get sore and uncomfortable. For me c-section would be for medical reasons only, but i understand if others want an elective one. Do your research and see what suits you best. I also recommend hypnobirthing book or classes , can help relax for c-section too.

I had a c section with my first, mostly for medical reasons. I would be okay to do natural this time but I’m going to have another c section as I don’t feel comfortable having a VBAC

Having my second section. Personally loved my birth and had a pretty easy recovery. This time round my baby is booked for 28th December which means I can fly my mum in for childcare of my toddler over the bank holidays. More easy to organise help for a few days with my 2 year old.

I had the most amazing natural birth first time around I’m definitely scared this one won’t be the same and will maybe change how I view birth if it doesn’t go as great but I’m going to try and just go with the flow and whatever will be will be! as long as we’re both ok and I get to get home to my big girl quickly I don’t mind😂

C-section for my first, this one I’m going in for the VBAC 🤞🏽

I had natural first time and will be having an elective section this time My birth was horrific and recovery was horrible. The only thing I was say is I would never be induced again that was very very painful. Being induced is more painful than not being induced

Hopefully having my fourth natural birth, I’ve been induced twice and managed a water birth with the non induction, would love a spontaneous labour 🤞 I’d only have a c section if it was advised for medical reasons. I’ve laboured fairly quick and always recovered well, therefore in my case I’ve never had a reason to consider a c section. Xx
