oh ok.. we were also given option for vacuum but doc said choose forcep idk why. did you also have third degree tears
mine was super bad and my stitches took 3 months to recover

Not forceps but we had vacuum since my son was still holding on refusing to come out. His head was cone shaped for a while because of vacuum
