Yeah it doesn’t really mean anything. But you could call your doctor and let them know. But I wouldn’t do anything until water breaking or bloody show or contractions
As long as no fluid is leaking mucus plug can grow back. What symptoms are you having if any?
@Ashley nothing else really, my pelvic floor has been killing me for weeks and a little bit of headache , apart from that it's all the same as everyone's exhaustion, heartburn, low appetite etc.
Sounds like normal pregnancy. I wouldn't worry to to much but if anything ring triage and ask just to put your mind at ease
I lost mine at 34 weeks and was having a section and she pretty much said they don't care if or when you lose it. You could make it till your section and still have no signs of labour.
I lost my mucus plug the week prior to c section and had only dilated to 1cm the day I arrived for surgery 🤷🏻♀️
I lost some of mine too about 2 weeks ago but there as no bloody show and I’m scheduled in for a c section in about 10 days the consultant wasn’t worried as it can regenerate xx
On the day of my C-section when I was in the hospital waiting for the doctors to come get me for my elective C-section, I went to the washroom and found out I lost my muscle plug 😅 I just thought what great timing being in the hospital waiting to see my son
@Erinn that's really good to know ❤️❤️
@Carolyn thank you , that's a relief to read❤️
@Kalene Yes, I hope so too ❤️
I also got cream off the GP too my only advice is to use it for the full 8 weeks even if you think it’s better it can reoccur. Hope you get sorted ♥️
Hi little update, so today I lost some more mucus plug in bits , three times and my belly is super tight and lots of discharge today as well.
If I understand correctly, losing mucus plug doesn’t mean anything really. It’s just your body starting to get ready for birth but could even be earlier on during pregnancy so I don’t think it’s anything that would affect your scheduled c section. Things like water breaking or contractions mean more
