How much liquid is your waters? Pls help

So I just had a sudden gush of liquid come out when I was moving around n changing my toddler, it was enough to dampen my underwear and the panty liner I had on as well as creating a tiny wet patch where I was sitting. So not a lot but it doesn't smell or look like pee, doesn't have much of a smell maybe even slightly sweet but there was also discharge on my pad already. Could this have been my waters? What do I do? My waters were broken artificially with my first so this is new to me and I'm a bit clueless 😅 I've put a fresh panty liner on in the meantime and doesn't seem to be anymore liquid coming out🤷‍♀️

This happened to me but more did keep coming out periodically. I called my triage and they invited me in to test and confirmed it was waters. I was then induced 24 hours later as contractions hadn't started x

@Lucy thanks that's helpful! So do you think I should just keep an eye on it to see if anymore comes out then phone triage if it does or leave it if nothing else happens? x

I’d maybe ring triage and explain, they’ll tell you to put a pad on for an hour or two then come in and check. Better to be safe than sorry!x

Def sounds like it could be your waters, some ppl have a gush then it’s a slow leak. Good luck and positive vibes!! 🙏🏼

It could be regular discharge which does change and ramp up in late pregnancy. But it could also be your waters. My midwife said to put a pad on, lay down / rolling over from time to time for 30 mins then stand up & walk around. If more comes out then it’s probably ur waters!

Thanks ladies, had some more trikles so I've phoned triage and I've to go up to be looked over so we'll soon find out 🥰

So I can confirm it was indeed my waters breaking🥰 no contractions as of yet so heading home to see if I progress and if not I'm booked in to be Induced at 9am tomorrow!
