hey mamas! how long did you wait to be pregnant again after c-section ? and is the next one was born naturally? I always wanted to have 2 first kids with a small age gap, my son born on 8th of january he’s gonna be 9 months but I can still feel pain even on my period so i’m so scared to get pregnant again even in the future i’m just thinking my belly gonna get bigger and i’m just gonna be in pain all the time

I’m pregnant again after a c section I fell pregnant when my LO was 17 months I was told to wait 18 months from births if you’ve had a c section to avoid higher chances of a uterine rupture. So you could safely fall pregnant when your little one is 9months

If you want to give birth via VBAC is it recommended to wait 18 months for everything to heal. You're more likely to have a c section before this because your uterus now has a weak point. Contractions can be an issue is the area hasn't had enough time.

19 months between my two. I got to the stage where I felt healed enough to try again.

It’s advised to wait 2 years to let your body fully recover and be able to give birth again with less risk of complications

My sis in law got pregnant 4 months after a c section obvs was risky but did manage to have the 2nd natural xx i had 2 sections 2 years apart xx

8 months postpartum. Will have a 17 month age gap. I’ve had no issues and been approved for a VBAC

My son was 2.5 almost exactly when I got pregnant. They’ll be a little over 3 years apart. I will most likely be having an elective C-section this time. Last time I needed to be induced early and ended up with an unplanned C-section 36 hours later. I will be induced at 39 weeks if I don’t go into labor naturally so for me I think the elective C-section will be best.

I waited two years. Started trying after 18 months tho. Have a vaginal delivery next time. Don’t take no for an answer. I had two c sections and then a vaginal.

@GMF I was induced with a vaginal after 2 c sections. Went perfectly. People really scared me to be induced but they gave me one unit of Pitocin and I was fine. You don’t have to listen to what they say you can wait as long as you want for natural labor too if you wanted.

@Cassie oh I don’t feel strongly about trying for a VBAC personally. The foley bulb was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced and don’t feel the need to go through that again. I was induced for medical reasons at 37 weeks. I have a higher risk of that same complication this time. I would also need to be induced by 39 weeks regardless due to my age. I’m comfortable with an elective C-section 😊
