Mucus plug/early labour?
Hi guys, I am just wondering if any of you had period type pains after you have passed your mucus plug? I feel really just exhausted!! I’m 38 weeks tomorrow. I know it could also be a while though before labour starts.

Yes! Definitely had that around 35 weeks. Lost my mucus plug. Went to the doctor, they said it can grow back. I’m 37 weeks now, still passing some mucus… and having period pains. Im getting induced in a few days due to having some signs of pre eclampsia.
I feel really rough today - very tired. Bad tummy, needing to pass bowel movements. A lot more discharge today…. My skin is also so spotty!!
My skin is also red/ inflamed/ break outs.. blotchy. I never had that with my first. If you are feeling bad, get checked out with your Obgyn. You should be seeing her every week until delivery at this point. 🙏
@Rebekah yes i am in the U.K. but seeing my midwife today. Wondering if I have flu or if I am just showing signs of early labour

I lost mine throughout my pregnancy but there was definitely a lot more towards the end. I experienced period like pains a couple of weeks before I went into labour, it only happened once but I started to time them but it wore off anyhow. I had horrendous period like pains during contractions , similar to what I felt a couple of weeks before but let me tell you, it was 1000000 x worse, I absolutely couldn’t mistake contractions. Xx
