I went back on the pill but it’s always worked for me

Since I'm still taking my prenatals, I decided to go with the patch this time. I've been on the pill before for a while and it would be just a disaster when I would miss a day.

I’ve gone on the pill but hopefully it’s only temporary until partner has a vasectomy I used to have the mirena coil for years and loved it but couldn’t face the insertion again as I had an elective section so no way of knowing if it would be any less painful 😭

I didnt want to do anything hormonal/implanted because we plan to try for another child after a year. So we are just using good old fashioned condoms 🤷‍♀️

I went with the patch after my daughter. It was amazing. Never had any issues then I went for my yearly check up and the nurse made me feel like I shouldn’t have been on it and that I should be on something more modern. Went back on the pill along came my second pregnancy. 🤣 I’m awful at remembering to take the pill and it would make me feel awful🙃

The patch 😊

Mirena coil, I have endometriosis and it's meant to help with it (so far so good! & I've had it a month and a bit) the pill & condoms both failed me, so here's hoping the coil works 😅

I went with the Depo Shot

I’ve gone for the Depo

Nexplanon

@Elena how was your experience with it? Are there many hormonal changes you felt?

Did the coil cause any hormonal changes for you? :) like weight gain, mood swings etc?

Mirena, best thing I could have done, less sore than all advice and easiest thing without causing Acne and hormones

@Star Agreed, I’ve had it for like close to 16 months now and I’m still good

Naturally after your baby you will get the blues and tbh you just need a good support because most women feel depressed and Hormonal from it but it’s natural

I had it for 6 years before taking a break and it’s been the same. I did gain some weight but idk if it’s that or me being a little loose on my eating habits lol but other than that I feel good. I’m 3 months PP and have not experienced any PPD or PPA, or mood swings

Mini pill and condoms

I went back on the depo injection, have been on it again nearly 6 months now and working well for me x
