Hospital recommendations for giving birth around Thirsk.

Hey everyoneđŸ«¶ We have recently found out we are having a double rainbow baby next year and are both over the moon and very much scared due to back to back miscarriages last yearđŸŒˆđŸ‘Œ I moved to Thirsk a few months ago and I’m unsure which hospital to use? My previous pregnancies have been high risk due to Hypermesis Gravidarum and Pre-eclampsia so I want to make sure I choose the right hospital that isn’t too far away, incase I need to be admitted as much as I did with my previous pregnancies. Any suggestions or past experiences are very much appreciated. Thank you✹✹✹

I gave birth three weeks ago at James Cook and they were amazing. I was high risk but all my appointments with consultant were at friarage to save travelling. My little girl I had at harrogate it was during covid and wouldn't recommend from that experience. If I have any more it will hands down be james cook. X

@Jade thank you so muchđŸ«¶ I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience at Harrogate, it was the one I wasn’t sure on just from things I had heard from others. Thank you again lovely xx

@Carmen my inbox is always open. Both my babies are rainbow babies so I know how you feel x

We have friends who have had their LO at James Cook and it was a good experience. I've had both of mine at Harrogate within the past 2 years and have had really good experiences both times.

@Jade thank you so much. Congratulations on your rainbow babies lovely xx

@Hannah thank you so much. I’m glad you’ve had lovely experiences either with your babies♄
