Reach out to your doctor please!! I have heard, however, that your mucus plug can regenerate itself, so it might not be a big deal.
Definitely talk to your doctor or go to labor and delivery triage at your hospital!
@Myra Barnes there isn’t any contractions and I know they said mucus plugs can grow back so I wasn’t sure if it was worth reaching out to my doctor about 😭 but I’m positive it was my mucus plugs! No blood but a good amount of the clear/yellow jelly like discharge.
I don’t think it can hurt just to check in with your healthcare provider!
Thanks ladies I will call her!
Yep, when in doubt, call the doctor! That’s what they are there for :) and your practice should always have someone on call anyway!
Please calll! It could be nothing, but at least be in the clear for sure. That sounds too early to start losing pieces of that
clear yellow jelly discharge is normal occurrence for me it’s nothing compared to an actual mucus plug i think you’re safe but if you think it’s MP def call like everyone else says
@Andrea it was a lot not a normal discharge amount
But yes I tried couldn’t speak to my ob because of after hours. On call said it was normal.
I would let the dr know and get checked. I know in my first pregnancy I was told we can lose part of the mucus plug and it can grow back but the pains would get me concerned enough to get checked
I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago when I was 21 weeks. No leaking no blood no cramping and made sure there was no intercourse/penetration for about a week and regeneration did its thing. I called and left a message with my OB office and they called me back with all the questions of symptoms There’s always the er if you are extremely worried or having symptoms. The best of luck 💕
I would reach out to your midwife or doctor asap!
