Does baby slamming her legs down during night mean she needs feeding?

I know it’s a self soothing thing, but I tend to pick her up and feed her and she goes back to sleep. Should I be trying something else instead of feeding? (We don’t use a dummy). As I don’t want to get her used to night feeding if she can go longer without. It’s usually about 6 hours in to her night sleep.

You can try just rocking but there's no problem with feeding her to sleep again if it's quicker. X

That's the time my little boy roughly wakes up, so tonight he went down at 8, he's just woken at 3:30, fed and now back in his cot. It is normal and they usually don't sleep right through until around 6 months, however I know it can happen earlier as my first baby slept longer at a younger age x
