We sleep trained my kid and it’s the best decision we made for everyone to get good sleep.
Sleep training is 100% why my baby slept through the night since like 2 months old
We’ve done everything, sleep trained didn’t work, coslepping doesn’t work, you name it we did it Thanks for sharing that your kids sleep great that’s what every mom wants to hear after being sleep deprived
I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be so inconsiderate! I really do truly think you should give sleep training another try. Otherwise maybe you can meet with a professional sleep trainer (idk what their actual title is) for your little one. What do you do to get your little one back to sleep in the middle of the night? Is it snuggles, milk, or just attention? Is there anything he actually wants or is it just him not being able to sleep?
I don’t know what age this is supposed to be implemented but I’ve heard of parents doing the “red light, green light method”. Red light means it’s night time, you have to sleep in your bed. Green light means, it’s wake-up time. It’s a form of sleep training. See this article here: https://www.theexpertbeginner.com/blog/toddler-sleep-green-light-training
How long did you try sleep training? What method did you do?
I have used a sound machine since day one. Don't know if you've tried that but also him being in his own room helped a lot
Carseat. My kids love car rides and when they get too fussy, I put them in their carseat and buckle them in with their blanket I keep on it (My twin boys are just now 17mo)
@Sharon I didn’t realize to try this but had my daughters infant car seat in the house since she’s too big for it and she put herself in it to take a nap one day and I was like wait WHAT lol. Before that I struggled to get her to nap properly.
Also we tried using lavender oil at bathtime and diffusing in our daughter’s room. I don’t know if it actually worked or God too putty on us but it did help. My daughter still doesn’t sleep great all the time so I feel a bit of your pain. Do you have a regular bed time routine?
@Dee❣️ my kids like playing in their carseat when it's on the ground, but it usually settles them down when it's clipped in the stroller
Do you co sleep? Are you against sleep training?
